Join us and let's shape the AI economy together Your impact The Director of Learning Experience Design will have a direct impact on Correlation One’s mission by designing and building transformative educational experiences for our clients throughout their relationship with C1. They will be an expert in building strong client partnerships, understanding clients’ goals, and crafting meaningful learning experiences that meet those goals. This person will interact directly with enterprise representatives, meeting regularly to ensure the learning design, content creation, and delivery plan is in line with the enterprise goals. A successful Director of Learning Design will ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of comprehensive training programs that engage learners and support an organization in their journey to enhance their employees’ digital skills. The Director of Learning Design will be an exceptional Learning Designer who is looking for deeper understanding of each problem the client is trying to solve. This is a hands-on role, with equal responsibility to conceptualize and build content. A day in the life Embrace strategic direction and "big picture" vision for an enterprise embarking on a digital transformation journey. Serve as a thought partner to the enterprise, bringing expertise in learning design, data and AI, corporate training, and innovative solutions and techniques. Manage content development for enterprise programs from inception to completion, defining objectives and timelines, and tracking progress for internal and external stakeholders. Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team of Learning Experience Designers and contractors. Provide mentorship and growth-focused feedback, establish clear expectations, and cultivate a collaborative, high-performance learning design culture. Identify and define learning objectives, develop course outlines, and build training courses using instructional best practices, including evidence-centered design, backwards design, UDL principles, and objective-driven frameworks. Ensure all content aligns with learning objectives and demonstrates efficacy in outcomes. Leverage a variety of digital learning design techniques to maximize program effectiveness and support learners. Recommend delivery methods based on learner profile, client goals, and content subject matter; maintain an understanding of the enterprise LMS as appropriate. Model alignment with enterprise-wide goals and adapt content to enterprise language, examples, and milestones as needed. Integrate design thinking, agile methodologies, and manage all aspects of learning development from needs analysis to implementation. Your expertise 10+ years experience in a Learning Designer role, with emphasis on online courses and live, synchronous experiences in corporate training across roles or industries. Master's Degree in Education strongly preferred. Experience executing content projects aligned with company goals, prioritizing high-impact work. Ability to translate enterprise needs into curriculum requirements, considering delivery, facilitation, and scheduling. Experience designing and delivering GenAI upskilling or reskilling programs with demonstrable learner outcomes in corporate settings. Professionalism, executive presence, and collaboration; ability to work with diverse teams and contractors. Experience applying design thinking to professional upskilling experiences. Comfort with ambiguity, bias for action, and proactive communication. Passion for data and AI and understanding of the AI landscape and its impact on organizations. Strong written communication and attention to detail. Data-driven and results-oriented; collaborative and self-sufficient in communication and collaboration. Experience recruiting, hiring, and managing contractors. Where you are This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the EST time zone, with a strong preference for Canada. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.
