Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people Key Duties & Responsibilities : Assist operations in adhering to the HSE management system and seek out ways to improve and optimize HSE performance Liaison with clients, third parties, HSE and other internal clients ( Learning and Development, Business Development and other groups within CEDA) Facilitate CEDA’s incident investigation program deliverables in conjunction with operational team members, providing coaching and feedback where necessary Responsible for documentation management and development Audit and monitor CEDA’s risk management program elements as required Support work location risk management communications through research and provide appropriate materials for operational team members Develop and facilitate learning sessions and / or presentations to increase awareness of organizational risk management practices Identify HSE coaching opportunities throughout the organization, offer yourself as a HSE subject matter resource and actively participate in leading indicator activities Role Specifications : 1-3 years of field HSE experience in an industrial / O&G setting required HSE diploma / certificate, National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation, Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (OH&S), Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) or Professional (CRSP) is required A strong working knowledge of related Occupational Health & Safety legislation as well as Environmental and Transportation regulations is an asset Familiar with using computer systems and can pick up new programs easily Experience with Intellex and Share Point is an asset Skills : You demonstrate a genuine concern for people and their safety You are able to work with and influence staff effectively from a variety of administrative and operational personnel from different locations and parts of the organization You are consistent and confident in your ability to identify, evaluate and address risks in various work environments You are solution focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills You are able to work with limited supervision, in a team environment Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
