A Large national Industrial builder is seeking numerous Electrical Estimators needed to join a growing team for projects across the USGet ready to electrify your career We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our Construction team. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and a knack for precision.You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various projects, including data centers, dealerships, automotive constructions, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. You’ll work on multi-trade estimating and collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals to deliver top-notch services to our clients.Why join us? Competitive compensation, bonuses, and fully paid family medical benefitsJob DetailsResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing proposed plans and specifications, and identifying labor, material, and time requirements.Review and interpret electrical and architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project scope.Use estimating software, such as Accubid, to accurately calculate total costs associated with project.Evaluate and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop comprehensive understanding of the project.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical Estimating, Project Estimating, and Cost Estimating in the construction industry.Proven experience in reading and interpreting electrical and architectural drawings and blueprints.Proficiency in using Accubid or similar estimating software.Experience in working with data centers, dealership construction, automotive construction, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants.Solid understanding of multi-trade estimating.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
