Distribution Strategy: Work with established distribution partners (e.g., Motion Control and Industrial Supply companies) to facilitate the sale of products. Understand that distributors are business partners, not direct customers. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key contacts who manage MRO spend, including Maintenance Superintendents, Plant Managers, and Buyers. Business Development: Focus on warm leads within the distributor's client base; cold calling is minimal. Travel: Manage a travel schedule of approximately 40% on the road. Summary This confidential District Sales Manager position offers a highly autonomous opportunity with a leading global industrial manufacturer.
