Our Client, is the leading provider of full-service back-up and recovery technology has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Team Lead Software Development.ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation.The Software Development Team Lead will be required to research, design, implement and maintain software applications to support our business and drive the product line in terms of innovation and quality. In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and an ability to keep up with rapidly changing priorities due to evolving technology changing business needs.Responsibilities:Full lifecycle application developmentResearch new technologies and bring forward new ideas to support the businessBuild durable architectureDesign, code and debug applications in various software languagesLiaise between Development, Project Management and Business ExpertsObject-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)Promote genericity and abstractionSoftware modeling and simulationSoftware testing and quality assurancePerformance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automationSupport, maintain and document software functionalityIntegrate software with existing systemsRepresent the team in cross platform projectsMaintain standards complianceThe ideal candidate will possess the following:10+ years development experience with C++ on Windows and/or LinuxExperience writing multi-threaded and multi-process code3+ years of experience with C#/.Net Framework3+ years of experience with database serversExperience with parallel and distributed computingExperience with any cloud providerExperience with STL and BoostA bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalentStrong knowledge of Design PatternsStrong English written and oral communication skillsIf you're not interested, but know someone who is, please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
