About Us: Fortress Properties Inc. is a full-service leasing and property management company with over 40 years of experience leasing nearly 2 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial real estate across Saskatchewan and Alberta. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support our accounting team. Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and vendor payments. This position requires a high level of organization, accuracy, and the ability to manage a range of tasks and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Process a high volume of vendor invoices related to multiple properties Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and work orders Ensure proper GL coding and property allocation for each transaction Prepare check runs in accordance with payment schedules Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain and update vendor information in the accounting system Respond to inquiries from vendors, property managers, and internal staff regarding payment status Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable sales tax regulations Qualifications: Accounting or administrative diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in property management or real estate Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and software systems Preferred: Experience with property management accounting software Yardi Voyager Familiarity with multi-entity accounting or working with multiple properties Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Casual dress On-site gym On-site parking Paid time off Vision care Dental care Extended health care Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
