Your Role:

  • Significant contribution to the daily portfolio management routine/activities
  • Act as a catalyst for the research and development of quantitative/systematic investment strategies
  • Participate in the technological evolution of the team's trading tools
  • Bring new proposals on various projects

Prerequisites:

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation completed
  • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management
  • Meaningful experience with derivative products
  • Completed bachelor's or master's degree in financial engineering, actuarial science, or any other related field
  • Practical experience in finance/trading-oriented programming
    • Java, Python, or VBA programming skills
    • Knowledge of programming support tools: Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, an asset
  • You have an interest in systematic portfolio management applied to different asset classes
    • Stocks, bonds, futures, options, and currencies
  • Work well under pressure
    • Agility/strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and present information in layman’s terms
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Sense of initiative and team spirit

Languages: Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
