P&H Milling P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions. From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Montreal, Quebec; Acton, Hanover, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries. Day to Day Provide direction and leadership through effective coaching and mentoring Maintains an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program Maintains a transparent and effective communication with Production, QA, OH&S teams at all times Plan and oversee installation, maintenance and repair industrial machinery which includes plant equipment, piping systems, pneumatic systems, and facility structure / services Provide recommendations and suggestions to address plant and equipment deficiencies or for continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA) Effectively assist in managing and controlling maintenance costs and budget Maintain documents and records in accordance with policies and procedures Manage equipment inventory and procurement of parts. Assist in the installation of Capital projects including the research of the project, cost estimates, sourcing of contractors and project timelines Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science Technologist (AScT), Journeyman/Red Seal trades certification as Millwright or Electrician Supervisory experience leading a small team Working knowledge with any CMMS software. Ability to read, follow and understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals and manufacturers' specifications. Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making Preferred Qualifications Experience in project management would be an asset Familiar with BRCGS (food safety) protocols Experience working with organized labour. Experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems Work and grow with a family-owned company.
