As we continue to expand our operations and take on exciting projects, we need dedicated individuals who can contribute their expertise to ensure the highest quality in our products and services.Key ResponsibilitiesWelding: Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and ARC, to fabricate and assemble steel components according to specifications and quality standards.Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards, making any necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating welding equipment and handling materials, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team, including fabricators, fitters, and supervisors, to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any relevant documentation required for quality control and traceability purposes.QualificationsProven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys used in steel fabrication.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications.Welding certification(s) or relevant training is a plus.Why Join UsAt AGS Steel, we recognize the importance of skilled welders in our operations and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment where your talents are valued and appreciated.
