Job Overview Retail Shift Leader (Part-Time, Permanent) – Canna Cabana Responsibilities Take the initiative to recruit, coach, and train top talent to ensure the team educates and informs customers. Live the culture and be the industry leader in delivering a knowledgeable, genuine, and exceptional customer experience. Maintain a clean, inviting, and well‑merchandised store environment. Share passion as the resident expert on products to ensure excellent staff training and development. Build brand, create a welcoming environment for customers, and positively impact the surrounding communities. Use problem‑solving and collaborative approach to achieve results. Develop and implement processes for operational excellence, oversee inventory, provide feedback on product trends, maintain visual merchandising standards, and assist with audits and SLGA requirements. Operate nights, holidays and weekends, and be able to work at different locations. Qualifications Smart Choices Cannabis certification or ability to obtain promptly. At least 1–2 years of retail supervisory experience. Positive coaching and feedback training skills. Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Flexibility to work weekday, weekend, and evening shifts. Ability to create a passion for customer service excellence. Post‑secondary education in a related field (preferred). Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems. Experience with visual planning and merchandising.
