And we promise you’ll never be bored.Job DescriptionFuel’s Cloud Operations Team is a full service team that manages all our client web services infrastructure including initial setup, automated deployment, release management, client support and 24x7 monitoring. As one of several Cloud Operations Specialists, you are an ever vigilant watchdog that keeps a keen eye on Fuel’s client deployments.QualificationsResponsibilities:Support and maintain our cloud infrastructure on a 24x7x365 basisPrioritize operational deliverables with production teamsInterface with development teams to communicate issues and recommend improvements in their respective applicationsContinuous monitoring of systems to ensure stability and reliabilityIncremental automation to streamline standard operating proceduresFoster our policies and procedures in the areas of incident response and monitoringCoordinate technical resolution of major incidentsManage task assignments to ensure commitments are delivered on timeProfessional Skill:Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiationExcellent English written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to understand business context and requirementsAbility to hit the ground running and provide value immediatelyWillingness to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirementsEffective at driving short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goalsQualifications:4 or more years of hands-on system administrator experience (Windows Server and Linux) in an internet focused production environment (IIS, SQL Server, .NET, Active Directory, LAMP)Hands-on experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, bash)Hands-on experience with cloud-computing stacks (AWS, Azure, RackSpace, etc)Experience with virtualization platforms (VirtualBox, HyperV, VMWare)Experience with system and network monitoring (Nagios, xabix, Microsoft SCM)Thorough understanding of networking concepts and Internet protocols (TCP/IP, ssh, HTTP/HTTPS, UDP, switches, routers, iptables, firewalls, load balancers)Experience with building and configuring physical servers is an assetAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
