The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate laws, and providing legal guidance on business decisions. Additional responsibilities include conducting legal research, advising on risk mitigation, handling corporate governance matters, and collaborating with internal teams to support business operations. Qualifications Licensed to practice law in Alberta (active member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta) Minimum 5–10 years of experience practicing Corporate and Contract Law within Alberta or inter‑provincially Deep understanding of Privacy, Data Protection, and Security legislation, including: Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) Proven experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Assessment, and Corporate Governance Demonstrated skill in Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Commercial Agreements Strong background in Dispute Resolution and Business Advisory Service Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational abilities Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Legal Industries: Telecommunications #J-18808-Ljbffr
