Our Member is looking to hire a 309A Journeyperson Electrician to join their team in Ottawa, ON. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components using test equipment and hand tools Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code Requirements Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues Excellent problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and safety protocols Please note, only qualified candidates will be contacted.
