Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant will be responsible for full cycle accounting including month end, up to Financial Statements. This role is hybrid, with 3 days a week on site in Downtown Edmonton. Responsibilities Month end close - supporting the Controller Preparation for year-end audits Compile and analyze financial statements Prepares monthly journal entries, accruals, prepaids, amortization, allocations, and adjustments Assists in cash monitoring, maintaining cash forecasting and analyzing cash needs Recurring reporting such as budgeting, regulatory reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Enrolled in the CPA program or equivalent International Designation Must have experience in IFRS 5+ years of full cycle accounting - Month end close up to Financial Statements Advantages RRSP Matching Education Support Extended Benefits including paramedical Personal and Sick days Position Details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Professional Services, Accounting, and Investment Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
