Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs, and counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients. Provide friendly, positive and pro-active interaction with all internal and external customers as well as create awareness and educate customers through public relations. Supervising and providing guidance to staff, with accountability for the financial and operational success of the department.What You’ll DoSupervise and provide guidance and direction to staffResponsible for hiring and managing the performance of staffAccountable for the financial and operational success of the departmentPrepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patientsEnsure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needsCounsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, proactive interactionCreate awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests/issuesObtain and review budgeted sales and net contributionIdentify and report sales opportunities both internally and externallyReview and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)What You’ll NeedBachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license (must)Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail environmentStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong people management skills with ability to motivate and coach othersExcellent customer service skills and a professional demeanorProven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategiesStrong problem-solving skills including the ability to formulate and execute action plansStrong personal computing skills, knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is an assetIf you want to join a fast-paced winning team and believe you can have an immediate impact, then we want to hear from youApply todayCompany FocusOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business.
