Who We Are At Katana Cloud Inventory, we know our strength lies in the diversity of our team. We’re a remote-first company with 100+ talented people from 25+ nationalities across 15+ countries, working together to make inventory management seamless for modern businesses. We believe in building software that connects businesses with their products and people – this connectivity is at the heart of everything we do. To power this vision, we’re also embracing an AI-empowered way of working. By thoughtfully integrating AI into our workflows and strategies, we enable our team to focus on creativity, innovation, and impact while working smarter and faster. Since 2017, we’ve been helping companies worldwide get a real-time view of their inventory and production workflows. From mom-and-pop shops to multi-million-dollar brands, our customers rely on us to unify their processes and tools with intuitive cloud-based inventory software that just works. To date, we’ve raised over $51 million from VC firms and angel investors who, like us, believe the inventory software space needs more love. As we continue to grow rapidly, we remain committed to equitable opportunities, fostering belonging, and driving innovation in everything we do — including how we use AI to amplify human potential across our teams and products. Who Are We Looking For We’re looking for a Sales Specialist who is passionate about helping product-based businesses scale through better operations and thrives in a cross‑functional, highly collaborative environment that’s constantly evolving. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving revenue growth by turning free users and inbound signups into paying customers. You'll guide prospects through discovery, show how Katana solves their real‑world challenges, and help them choose the right plan to scale efficiently. You’ll be a great fit if you're driven, accountable, and take full ownership of your pipeline. Whether that means closing inbound deals or proactively building new opportunities when demo volume is light. You bring energy, curiosity, and integrity to every interaction and thrive where speed, quality, and outcomes matter. At Katana, we’re embracing new ways of working — including thoughtfully integrating AI into our workflows. You don’t need to be an expert, but if you’re curious, adaptable, and open to experimenting with AI‑enabled tools, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow and shape the way we work. What You’ll Be Doing Drive new revenue growth by turning free users and inbound signups into paying customers through consultative sales conversations. Lead engaging product demos by running a tailored discovery and demo session that connects Katana's value to real customer workflows and pain points. Collaborate across teams by working closely with Onboarding, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine messaging, improve conversion, and deliver a smooth buyer journey. Own the sales process by managing deals from discovery through close using proven methodologies like SPICED, Sandler, and Challenger to qualify, create urgency, and win.
