What You Will Do Work with the manager and stakeholders (e.g. internal customers/Lines of Business, vendors, external consultants) to initiate and execute projects, primarily within the Facilities scope of responsibilities—including construction, renovation, remediation, and maintenance. Ensure the timely progression and completion of all projects, maintenance, and repairs. Propose and lead change and improvement initiatives, process improvements and procedures within the Facilities department. Process all department invoices and act as the main representative of the Facilities department for correspondence between CCG’s Accounting department and all external vendors. Process event request forms from internal departments, coordinating between the Facilities maintenance team and the internal‑client/requesting department. Look for opportunities to maintain and improve Health and Safety for all Associates, in the corporate workplace and home office. Participate in and lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP processes for Facilities‑related contracts. Create RFPs/bid documentation that reflects accurate details based on project requirements. Collect, analyze, and evaluate vendor bid proposals; validate and qualify potential suppliers and service providers based on company policies and business requirements. Ensure vendors meet company policies and legal requirements, including WSIB and insurance. Work with the reporting manager and in‑legal department to ensure contracts serve the company’s best interests, and T&Cs are reviewed. Implement cost‑control strategies to ensure projects are completed within established project budgets. Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with internal clients, external consultants, vendors, and stakeholders. Ensure information is shared effectively, coordinating and providing updates regarding project status, timeline, and costs. Effectively utilize architectural drawings and written and visual materials to communicate concepts, designs, objectives, and solutions to all stakeholders. Manage projects with multiple vendors requiring complex coordination and a thorough understanding of scopes and trade disciplines. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are Post‑secondary education in the field of building system maintenance. Facilities maintenance certifications CFM or FMC preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in a related field. Experience in corporate construction/renovation/remediation/improvement project management (renovations to full operational buildings). Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical building systems. Experience in commercial property maintenance and property management. Familiarity with building automation systems an asset. Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to communicate information effectively, including managing complex/technical information for all levels of audience. Strong project coordination, scheduling, administration and cost‑management skills within a team environment. Ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities and analyse processes, responding to unexpected changes as required. Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of building codes and regulations for commercial facilities. Health and safety practices and legal obligations and best practices. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
