Opportunity We are currently seeking a Production Accounting Summer Student to join our Production Accounting team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Production Accounting, the successful candidate will have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills along with a passion for learning. The work term will commence in May 2026 and will last approximately 4 months. Responsibilities Assist with gathering and analyzing production data to support revenue, royalty, and fee calculations Assist with monthly and quarterly production accounting journal entries Monthly account balance reconciliations Review property reports to ensure recognition of production, revenue, royalties and fees Update production accounting records to reflect changes in production factors, product flow, fuel estimates, gas analysis, royalties, and ownership Communicate with the field staff and internal teams to resolve data discrepancies Support other projects and initiatives as required What You Will Bring To Arc This position is ideally suited for students interested in enrolling in the CAPPA Certificate program and students entering their final year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a preference for those specializing in Accounting, and are returning to their studies in the following term Experience in accounting is considered an asset, but not required Ability to perform tasks both independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through and resolve issues with good communication skills Intermediate MS Office/365 skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience in SAP or other financial systems is considered an asset, but not required Experience in the petroleum industry is considered an asset, but not required Rewarding Opportunity An opportunity to be part of delivering responsible energy by developing and growing your career with us Working collaboratively with, and learning from some of the most talented and experienced people in our industry A culture of caring and high performance Focus on health and well-being An environment where all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, feel a sense of belonging, and can contribute fully to the organization’s success Meaningful work that makes a difference in the Canadian energy industry We thank you for your interest in ARC, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
