We are looking for a Care Support role to join our team We’re Kindred Home Care a fast-scaling, values-driven company delivering over 25,000 hours of care each week across the Maritimes. Trusted by thousands of families and over 1,000 frontline caregivers, we’ve earned our reputation by being radically responsive and relentlessly people-first. Now, we’re taking that proven model to new provinces starting with Toronto and Halifax and building the infrastructure to support massive growth. Our team is small, smart, and scrappy. No multi layers of approval. No tech-for-tech’s-sake. Just high-impact work that matters. We’re aiming high: 4 million hours of care by 2030. And we need the right systems and people to get us there. In the role of Care Support you will play a supporting role to members of the broader Kindred Home Care Team. You will function as the hub of communication, supporting our caregivers, clients and their families. Working remotely from home you will work in our system logging calls and serve as the frontline of customer support. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, energized by ambitious goals, we invite you to apply and embark on this exciting journey with us. Responsibilities Coordinate and plan daily scheduling for urgent coverage requirements. Effectively communicate with staff, clients, and families about scheduling challenges. Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and system tasks. Establish meaningful connections with caregivers, clients, and regional teams. Maintain accurate schedules and track caregiver availability. Identify and elevate potential risks by providing clarity. Qualifications Secondary school education or equivalent. 2+ years of clerical and customer contact experience. Proficiency in using various technologies. Superior critical thinking, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to build strong relationships with others and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to react quickly and re‑prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Experience in scheduling would be beneficial. Experience with Salesforce would be advantageous. Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision. Positive, flexible, and reliable work attitude. Able to commit to working on call every other weekend. We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. Our company values the diversity of the people it hires and serves. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or marital status. Come join a culture of individuals who are real, joyful and engaged. We are constantly looking to pursue growth and see challenges as opportunities. If you are looking for an environment to take your own personal and professional growth to the next level then we look forward to hearing from you We thank all applicants for their interest #J-18808-Ljbffr
