We are currently looking for twenty‑four (24) Process Control & Machine Operator(s) in Beverage Processing (NOC 94140) to join our Feversham facility at 494306 Grey Road 2, Feversham, Ontario, N0C 1C0. These are full‑time positions based on 88 hours of work per 2‑week cycle, with occasional overtime. Candidates must be able to work a 12‑hour rotating continental shift, including nights and weekends. Position Summary The Process Control & Machine Operator plays a critical role in our manufacturing process, responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of bottling processing equipment. This role involves operating and maintaining specialized, multi‑function process control bottling machinery, monitoring production processes, and adhering to quality standards to ensure the consistent bottling of beverages. The position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical instructions, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Duties Operate bottling processing equipment via digital control panels, configuring settings, tracking real‑time data, troubleshooting, optimizing processes, ensuring safety compliance, logging data, and applying system updates. Operation of manual elements also required. Maintain accurate production records and quality reports, conduct inspections, make adjustments, and ensure quality requirements are met according to company standards; promptly report any deficiencies. Analyze and interpret production line flow through monitoring KPIs such as cycle times, bottleneck areas, and material flow rates, utilizing advanced data analytics to optimize equipment synchronization, reduce downtime, and maximize throughput. Identify and assess potential safety hazards by conducting real‑time risk analysis using sensor data and machine feedback, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, emergency stop mechanisms, and machine guarding systems. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and address challenges effectively. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation in compliance with industry standards, using approved chemicals, scheduling to prevent cross‑contamination, ensuring equipment longevity, and maintaining food safety monitoring. Utilize advanced material handling techniques for safe transport and storage of materials and products, employing equipment such as forklifts and following ergonomic standards. Provide flexible support on the production line by engaging in various tasks—equipment setup, output monitoring, minor troubleshooting, loading/unloading—while following safety protocols and communicating with supervisors. Follow SOPs and technical guidelines for production processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of high school required. Post‑secondary education required to read and understand technical instructions and sophisticated Husky equipment user manuals. Two years of plastics injection or bottling line experience required. Previous heavy equipment experience preferred. Ability to work independently and within a small team in a fast‑paced environment. Maintain high levels of attendance. Upbeat attitude with positive outlook. Strong attention to detail. Compensation and Benefits Starting wage $22.75–$23.60 per hour, less statutory deductions. After 3‑month probation, hourly rate increases by $0.25. Eligible to earn a Line Efficiency (LEF) Bonus upon achieving criteria specified in the LEF Bonus Program. Shift compensation: 8‑hour shift $10–$20, 10‑hour shift $15–$25, 12‑hour shift $20–$30 for 85%–95% LEF target. Overtime paid at 1.5x regular hourly rate after 88 hours in a 2‑week cycle. 10 days paid vacation per year. Extended medical, dental, and long‑term disability insurance. Retirement savings plan participation. Inbound transportation costs for out‑of‑province applicants. Private health care insurance coverage for out‑of‑province applicants equal to Ontario provincial plan until eligible for Ontario plan. Incremental raises per company policies. Working Environment and Physical Demands Shift‑work, including nights and weekends. Frequent lifting and carrying of materials, products, and goods up to 50 pounds or more. Standing and walking for extended periods on hard surfaces. Regular bending, stooping, and reaching to handle equipment and materials. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery controls, tools, and computer systems. Good visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment and detect malfunctions. Operating forklifts and machinery requires coordination, balance, and adherence to safety protocols. PPE use.
