Quality Inspector - Cable and Harness - Level 2 Base pay range $32.00/hr - $34.00/hr We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to support our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This is a full‑time, first-shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable and harness inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Nova Scotia, Canada Ensure products meet quality and specification standards Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non‑conformances Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized Required Qualifications Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods Certified or previously certified in IPC‑A‑620 & J‑STD W/Space Addendum Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills Must be a Canadian citizen with a valid passport (required for travel to California) Preferred Qualifications Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector Note: SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
