Receptionist / Care Coordinator – Lifemark Physiotherapy West KelownaStatus: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per weekLifemark Health Group is seeking a casual / part-time Receptionist / Care Coordinator for its West Kelowna Clinic. The Receptionist / Care Coordinator is responsible for fostering a strong relationship between the clinic and its customers, including patients, staff, funders, and referral sources. This is achieved by efficiently providing administrative support and coordinating clinic activities with friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service to all patients, team members, and external customers.The Care Coordinator handles all aspects of patient intake, data entry, answering phones, outbound calling, receiving faxes and emails, as well as invoicing and payments.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnswer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concernsCoordinate detailed and accurate intake of information during the patient's first visit and throughout their treatment planAssist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to ensure accuracyCoordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient's medical recordsCollect payment at the time of serviceTrack coverage for all funding streams to ensure approvalComplete data entry and billingCoordinate courier packages (incoming and outgoing) and process emails, mail, and faxesProvide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic DirectorQualifications & Core CompetenciesHigh School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalentExcellent customer service skills and telephone etiquetteStrong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-taskExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer and data entry skillsFlexible and adaptable to changeExperience in a Physiotherapy clinic is an assetInclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
