Discover more about us at www.vanpile.comAre you ready to make your mark with a major player in the heavy civil and marine construction industry?Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd., a proud member of the Carlson Construction Group, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our North Vancouver team and support the delivery of exciting upcoming projects across British Columbia—including marine terminals, bridge foundations, and coastal infrastructure developments.This is a dynamic opportunity to lead logistics operations that directly impact the success of high-profile construction projects.Lead Critical Operations: Play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.Support Landmark Projects: Contribute to the execution of transformative infrastructure initiatives.Grow Your Career: Work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Make an Impact: Help shape the future of BC’s coastline through strategic logistics management.Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.Oversee procurement planning, material tracking, and delivery schedules in alignment with project timelines and budgets.Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Estimators to forecast material needs and mitigate supply chain risks.Implement and optimize digital logistics platforms (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software) to improve visibility and efficiency.Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, cost control, and inventory turnover.Lead initiatives for sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible logistics practices.Manage transportation logistics, including fleet coordination, route optimization, and compliance with safety regulations.Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively, including expediting orders and managing emergency procurement.5-8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement within the construction or industrial sector.Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications such as PMAC, CPP, SCMP, or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) are considered strong assets.Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica) and logistics software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, or similar).Strong understanding of construction project workflows and material requirements.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including remote or active construction sites.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or work flexible hours as needed.High integrity and commitment to ethical sourcing and business practices.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new digital tools and platforms.Collaborative and communicative, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, high-pressure environments.Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.Competitive salary range: $100,000 – $140,000Opportunities to contribute to landmark projects and grow your career How to Apply: Ready to drive logistics excellence on BC’s most exciting infrastructure projects?
