Employer & Schedule Shift: 8.5 hour evenings (3:00‑11:30 p.m.) Full‑time, 40 hrs per week Location: Medicine Hat, Alberta Pay: Competitive salary + vacation package Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Health Care Provider Industries: Hospitals; Health Care; Wellness and Fitness Services Benefits Health & Dental benefits program Share Ownership and Reward Program (SOAR) Employee Share Purchase Plan with company match Continuous learning and growth opportunities Welcoming culture that values diversity What You’ll Be Doing Assist residents with daily living activities—eating, dressing, hygiene, grooming Provide resident supervision and assistance as per individual care plans Support resident comfort and well‑being, including oral and dental care Enforce safety protocols; ensure residents access assistive devices (canes, walkers, call bells) Encourage participation in resident experience programs How You’ll Succeed Provide resident supervision and assistance Support activities of daily living per care plans Assist with medication administration under supervision of a registered health professional (with training) Promote mobility and safety; use assistive devices appropriately Deliver cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support Maintain open communication with families and the care team Who You Are Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work with seniors Completed a Health Care Aide program from an approved college Detail‑oriented, proficient in administering simple treatments and bedside care Diplomatic and respectful in interactions with seniors, families, and visitors What You Need To Know You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check Committed to an inclusive environment where all feel they belong Additional Information Referrals are encouraged.
