Job Title: Guidewire Developer Experience Required: 8 Years Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Salary: CA$80,000.00-CA$120,000.00 Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, and ClaimCenter to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain Guidewire applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify requirements. Design and implement customizations and configurations within the Guidewire framework. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high‑quality and defect‑free code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire applications. Stay current with Guidewire technologies, best practices, and platform updates. Work on Guidewire integration and data model customization to support business needs. Utilize Java and Gosu programming languages to implement functionality and custom solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer with strong understanding of Guidewire architecture and components. Hands‑on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, and ClaimCenter. Proficiency in Java and Gosu programming. Experience with Guidewire integration, plugin development, and data model customization. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or Waterfall project environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Guidewire certification (BillingCenter/PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter Developer) is a plus.
