Reporting to the Operations Manager, Hotel, you will be the front-line representative for the hotel and will strive to provide an exceptional, proactive, and memorable experience for the guest.ResponsibilitiesGreet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotelVerify customers’ credit, and establish how the customer will payContact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report a problemMake and confirm reservationsAssign and distribute room keysPerform bookkeeping duties such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly auditsKeep records of room availability and guests’ accountsRecord guest comments or complaints, referring them to managers when necessaryReview accounts and charges with guests during the check-out processAnswer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directionsArrange tours, taxis, and restaurant reservations for guestsQualificationsExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to problem-solveGood organizational skills, able to multi-task, and is detailed-orientedFlexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays)BenefitsCompetitive payExtended health care including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife insurance, drug coverage, and wellness programsDiscounts on rent at Northview propertiesVacation Travel Assistance for Northern employeesIf your background matches the qualifications listed above and you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve, please submit your resume in confidence.Please note, only those candidates chosen to continue to the next stage of the selection process will be contacted.
