Position Title: Sales Account Executive Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba Company overview: CCTV Direct is a distributor of surveillance equipment including state‑of‑the‑art AI and IoT cameras, AI network and digital video recorders, cables, and other accessories from market leaders. Over the last 16 years, we have been the premier solution provider to our business partners serving them from the Ontario and Quebec market with outstanding quality and service. Role Summary: As the Sales Account Executive for Western Canada, you will be the primary liaison for our clients, driving new business development and cultivating long‑term customer relationships. Reporting: The Sales Account Executive will report directly to the President and may collaborate with our Sales Account Manager in Quebec on a project‑by‑project basis. Key Responsibilities Proactively drive market intelligence and uncover growth opportunities. Increase market share by performing sales efforts to convert potential customers to CCTV Direct customers. Maintain and develop new customer relationships in the CCTV, Security, Access Control, and Networking industry. Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales. Determine sales projections for fiscal year and track progress. Other Responsibilities As we grow, the role may assist in opening and leading the Winnipeg CCTV Branch location. Qualifications Experience within a sales role or equivalent. Experience in a B2B sales environment. Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm. Excellent communication and people skills. Experience in the security industry will be considered a definite asset. Key Competencies Self‑motivated, able to work independently without close supervision, and have a team mentality. Strong understanding of CCTV, access control and intrusion systems. Sales experience in the security industry is an asset. Strong work ethic, do‑what‑it‑takes approach while maintaining high business ethical standards. Experience working at a Retail Office Supply store is a plus.
