Who are we looking for? Our offices in Whitby, Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, and St. Catherines are seeking Intermediate Bridge CAD/BIM Designers to join our Transportation Group in Canada. This role is ideal for CAD/BIM technicians aiming to advance their careers in designing transportation structures for municipalities, MTO, IO, and major partners. Responsibilities Data Collection and Analysis: Formalize engineering notes, specifications, and sketches into working drawings, ensuring compliance with standards. Team Collaboration: Support project design efforts and mentor junior staff. Technical Skills: Exposure or interest in visualization software (e.g., Infraworks) and design programming (e.g., Dynamo) is a plus. Software Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot software issues to ensure functionality. Personal Development: Engage in ongoing learning and industry best practices. Operational Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant standards such as CSA and MTO. Collaboration: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external partners. Education Diploma in Structural Technology or related field from an accredited institution. Experience 5+ years in bridge design, including steel and concrete structures. Experience with bridge rehabilitation, proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, and ProjectWise.
