Automotive Service Technician (Slave Lake) – Fountain Tire Fountain Tire Slave Lake is looking for a skilled and Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team. A 3rd or 4th year apprentice with a solid mechanical background is also considered. What’s in it for you? Competitive wages – Licensed Mechanic: $38 to $45 per hour based on experience Health, dental and vision benefits Retirement savings plan with company matching Regular day shifts with opportunities for overtime Clean and safe work environment Great discounts on tires, parts and mechanical services for you and your family Continuous learning, growth, and advancement opportunities You will get to Diagnose the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle Perform appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency Complete approved service on customer vehicles Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner Support customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries What does it take to get on track? Licensed Automotive Service Technician or a registered 3rd or 4th year apprentice Strong knowledge of automotive industry and required skills to provide mechanical service Diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology Strong written and verbal communication skills Commitment to providing a superior customer experience Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work Market leading wages, a manager with a large support network, and the chance to learn and grow.
