The role involves streamlining software delivery pipelines and implementing best practices for continuous integration and deployment.You WillDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gradle and Git.Manage and optimize infrastructure on AWS, including DynamoDB, Elasticache, and others.Work with Java and Scala applications, utilizing Java21 where applicable.Collaborate with development teams to implement monitoring and alerting solutions.Implement and maintain containerization platforms using Kubernetes (K8s) and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, application performance, and reliability.Utilize Kafka and Cassandra for data streaming and storage, where applicable.Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security.You HaveAt least 4 years of experience in software development.Strong proficiency in Java and excellent problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, with experience in Java21 being a plus.Familiarity with Scala or a strong willingness to learn.Hands-on experience with AWS services, including DynamoDB, Elasticache, etc.Proficiency in Gradle and Git for software build and version control.Must be a resident of Canada and eligible to work in Canada.Nice to HavesExperience with monitoring and observability tools like NewRelic, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.Working knowledge of Kafka and Cassandra for data streaming and storage.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s).What We OfferHealth Spending Account.Disability insurance.Life insurance.Paid time off.Work from home.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
