Vos responsabilités incluront :Superviser ou effectuer directement les tâches nécessaires pour respecter les réglementations environnementales et soutenir la réalisation des objectifs commerciaux.Gérer, planifier, coordonner et diriger les activités environnementales et certaines activités de santé et sécurité sur les sites de fabrication, de transport, de distribution et de services sur le terrain afin d’assurer la conformité et réduire les risques.Servir de point de contact pour le Directeur Général de l’unité commerciale régionale et son équipe de direction concernant tous les aspects de l’environnement, de la santé et de la sécurité.Veiller à ce que tous les rapports requis soient complétés et soumis aux agences gouvernementales.Examiner les nouvelles réglementations environnementales ou de sécurité et conseiller la direction pour assurer la conformité.Surveiller la conformité de l’entreprise via l’examen des rapports de surveillance des rejets, des rapports sur les déchets dangereux, des enquêtes et autres documents soumis aux agences réglementaires.Informer la direction des changements réglementaires anticipés et préparer des stratégies de conformité.Aider les équipes d’ingénierie et d’exploitation à planifier la conformité pour les nouvelles opérations ou les modifications.Dispenser des formations au personnel opérationnel sur les exigences réglementaires, environnementales et de sécurité.Rédiger ou aider à la préparation des demandes de permis, des réponses aux avis de non-conformité, des enquêtes et autres demandes d’information des agences environnementales.Obtenir l’avis du département juridique sur les permis majeurs et les questions de conformité.Maintenir le système de gestion environnementale selon les normes ISO 14001.Gérer les actions correctives et les exigences de remédiation pour les opérations canadiennes.Avoir une connaissance approfondie des exigences réglementaires environnementales et de santé et sécurité au Canada (locales, provinciales, nationales).Soutenir les opérations sur le terrain et les dirigeants de l’unité commerciale dans le développement et la mise en œuvre de stratégies de gestion durable.Ce Que Nous RecherchonsDiplôme universitaire en sciences de l’environnement, ingénierie, sciences physiques, gestion de la sécurité ou domaine technique connexe ; CHMM, CSP ou CIH.Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience avec les réglementations environnementales et de sécurité liées à l’industrie chimique.Connaissance pratique des réglementations environnementales et de sécurité (locales, provinciales, fédérales).Compréhension technique des procédés de fabrication chimique.Compétences en gestion de projet.Capacité à embaucher et gérer des consultants environnementaux dans différentes régions du Canada.Capacité avérée à effectuer des calculs précis pour les rapports environnementaux ou de sécurité.Sens du détail : capacité à préparer, diffuser et maintenir efficacement les systèmes et programmes de conformité.Ce Que Nous OffronsCongés payés + jours fériés payésAssurance santé + assurance vie + AD&DREER + RPP (après 1 an d’emploi continu)Programme d’aide aux employésCollègues sympathiques et solidairesNos ValeursZéro dommage pour tous, partoutValoriser les personnes – Respecter, reconnaître et récompenserPenser client. Other duties include:Oversee or directly perform tasks required to maintain adherence to environmental regulations and support the achievement of business values and objectives.Manage, plan, coordinate and direct Environmental and selected H&S activities at manufacturing, transport, distribution and field service sites to ensure compliance and reduce risk of environmental harm, employee injury, community impact and property loss.Provide Point of Contact interface and services to Regional Business Unit General Manager and Management Team in relation to all aspects of Environment, Health and Safety.Ensure all required reports are completed and submitted to government agencies as required.Review new and existing environmental or safety regulations and advise company management to ensure full compliance.Monitor company compliance with regulations through review of discharge monitoring reports, hazardous waste reports, surveys, and other documents and correspondence submitted to regulatory agencies, including reviewing reports from operating personnel to ensure full compliance.Advise company management on anticipated regulatory changes and prepare compliance strategies that will require significant capital investment or increases in operating costs to meet corporate business goals.Assist Engineering and Operations in planning for compliance with regulations in connection with new or modified operations (e.g., new plants or processes, formulation changes) to assure compliance.Conduct training for operating personnel to meet regulatory, environmental, safety, and business needs.Draft or assist in the preparation of permit and renewal applications, responses to notices of deficiency, notices of violations, and surveys. Reports and any other requests for information from environmental agencies.Obtain Legal Department input on major permits, notice of violations, and other environmental or safety compliance issues of a legal nature to ensure full compliance.Maintain Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 standards.Manage corrective action and remediation requirements for the Canadian Business.Thorough working knowledge and understanding of Environmental and H&S regulatory compliance requirements for Canadian locations.
