Intermediate Full Stack Developer .NET (6‑month contract) Create value at TC Transcontinental. Overview Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Full Stack Developer will work in a .NET environment to implement new features, fulfill change requests, fix bugs, and build new solutions from the ground up. The role includes participation in code reviews, providing feedback, and contributing process improvements while collaborating closely with QA, product management, and analysts. Responsibilities Develop and unit test moderate to complex programs or modules according to business and design requirements. Deliver on enhancements and product progression projects on time and on budget. Provide support and enhancements to existing production applications to reduce outage time and increase efficiency. Collaborate with architects, leads, QA, business analysts and project managers to define requirements and assess feasibility. Produce secure, reliable, reusable and scalable code. Document implementation instructions and support application deployments. Review problems with QA and product teams to define and test solutions. Follow industry standards in application development, secure coding and testing. Qualifications Mandatory Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or IT related field. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in service/microservice oriented architecture, web‑based and cloud‑based development. 5+ years of experience in .NET web application development. Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Node.js, Vue.js, jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML). Knowledge of .NET languages and frameworks (C#, .NET Core, Blazor, MVC, VB.NET, ASP.NET). Knowledge of database technologies (MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL, SQLite). Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, IntelliJ, Eclipse; build tools such as Gradle, Ant, Maven, Tomcat; version control (GIT); unit testing. Excellent analytical problem‑diagnosis, investigation and solving skills. Ability to fully take ownership of a project or product with minimal support. High attention to detail, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in team or solo and meet tight deadlines. Desirable Skills Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign). Java knowledge. Experience with user‑experience driven design development. Results‑oriented documentation discipline. Bilingual English & French. Experience in mobile application development and responsive UX design. Experience with Agile methodology.
