Our client is a renowned ICI construction company, known for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. With a robust pipeline full of exciting new projects, they specialize in new build and renovation projects in the ICI sector, and pride themselves on the collaborative efforts within their teams, allowing them to undergo large-scale work, bringing them to the front of the construction industry.

Job Description

  • Consult with clients and stakeholders to define project controls, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Draft and manage contracts for consultants, specialists, and contractors, including endorsements, amendments, and change orders.
  • Oversee consultant services, including drawings, specifications, supervision, and work acceptance.
  • Attend site meetings with professionals and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and supervise all site activities.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of project schedules and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Manage customer and subcontractor payment requests, review shop drawings and samples, and address technical questions related to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor and resolve "Conflict Detections" during BIM project execution and ensure effective handling of project deficiencies and amendments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a heavy focus on ICI developments.
  • A minimum of 2 completed, full cycle industrial projects is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple multi-million dollar projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
