Overview Virtual Hospitalist (Physician) – Licensed & Residing in BC (remote role) Teladoc Health Canada's mission is to help Canadians live their healthiest lives by transforming how they access care. As a Teladoc Physician providing in-patient care to patients in British Columbia, you will leverage purpose-built technology to work with a collaborative team to address one of the most urgent challenges in healthcare today – providing timely primary care to patients. The Opportunity As a Virtual Hospitalist, you’ll deliver high-quality care through Teladoc Health Canada’s virtual platforms. You will: Join a team of Hospitalists working with onsite clinicians to bring additional support to general wards virtually Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage in-patients; order/review labs and imaging; address results and emerging issues Collaborate with onsite clinicians, remote physicians, and nursing staff to prioritize and distribute patient cases Participate in patient rounds, huddles, and interdisciplinary meetings; ensure effective handovers between shifts Escalate complex cases to shift leads or Teladoc medical leadership as required Partner with medical, nursing, and management teams; foster a supportive, relationship-based culture Shifts typically fall on any day of the week from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm PST Why join Teladoc Health Canada?
