Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead (Contract) On behalf of our Professional Services client, Procom is searching for a Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with three days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead - Job Description This is a key leadership opportunity to shape the brand narrative and enhance the product's reputation through integrated public relations, social media, and influencer strategies. The role involves serving as a strategic partner to the Canadian business, supporting the Global Communications organization, and providing counsel to senior leaders. Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead - Responsibilities Own the integrated communications vision and strategy development Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and leaders Develop integrated marketing and communications strategies Define key performance indicators and oversee campaign performance reports Collaborate with US marketing and communications teams Drive public relations media strategy and manage the PR agency Oversee the development and execution of a social media strategy Oversee the influencer marketing program Monitor social media trends and competitor activity Manage the social media, influencer, and PR budget Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead - Mandatory Skills 8-10+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced environment Proven track record in developing integrated communications strategies Expertise in leading social media strategy Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate with teams and leadership Strong analytical skills for strategy and ROI measurement Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work as a self-starter with autonomy Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in consumer tech or financial sectors Experience with cross-border communications Familiarity with Canadian media landscape Knowledge of influencer marketing trends Understanding of data-driven decision-making Principal Communications Manager – PR & Social Lead – Assignment Length This is a 12 month contract position.
