Sessional Lecturer, History, HIST 193 (ITEP - Cumberland House FN) The Department of History in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s): Course: HIST 193.3 (E12) History Matters Topics in Canadian History Term and Dates: Term 2 (January 1 to April 30, 2026) CRN: 32668 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (Live in-person on Cumberland House Cree Nation). Course Schedule: Actual days/times to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant at the discretion of program. Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends without special permission. Expected Enrollment Limit: 35 Location: Cumberland House Cree Nation (approx. 4.5hrs NE of Saskatoon, SK) Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in History or related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students. Other: A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required.
