Run what runs the world This Position reports to: Superviseur, Groupe électronique ABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner. We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services. Your Role: Own the Challenge Design and develop electronic circuits, including both digital and analog modeling and simulation. Select electronic components. Design embedded software (microcontroller, FPGA) as well as test software. Contribute to the writing of design documentation, technical budgets, and testing and commissioning documentation. Participate in the commissioning and testing of electronic boards. Take part in multidisciplinary design reviews and present progress at various stages of the project. Actively participate and collaborate in project planning and estimation tasks. What It Takes To Run What Runs The World Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a college diploma (DEC) in Programmable Electronics and Robotics (TSO), with at least 10 years of experience in electronic engineering. Advanced knowledge of VHDL/Verilog programming and strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers. Strong analytical skills and understanding of electronic circuits; skilled in prototyping and commissioning electronic boards. Knowledge of the following software is an asset: Altium Designer, Pspice, Matlab, Python; good command of both French and English, spoken and written. French is required.
