Staff Product Manager – Ecosystem & Integrations ecobee is a global connected‑home technology company that pioneered the Wi‑Fi thermostat and now focuses on sustainable, smart‑home solutions that help consumers save energy and enjoy peace of mind. Responsibilities Lead and execute ecobee‑wide ecosystem and partner integration strategy. Build relationships with leading device manufacturers, platform owners, and service partners to create a cohesive ecobee experience. Collaborate with product, business development, and engineering to evangelize and implement a platform strategy across all ecobee businesses. Develop and champion standards strategy, starting with Matter for smart‑home interoperability. Drive product discovery: conduct customer interviews and research to define business requirements. Own product success metrics and help the team achieve them. Monitor progress, report status to leadership, and enable data‑driven decision making. Facilitate tough decisions by surfacing trade‑offs and providing clear, rational recommendations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience delivering successful platform strategies, partnerships, and integrations. Deep understanding of standards bodies and governance. Proven ability to negotiate and influence partner integrations for a unified customer experience. Track record of launching high‑impact products with measurable business outcomes. Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action. Inquisitive, customer‑obsessed, and capable of solving large problems. Natural leader who inspires direction and decision‑making in cross‑functional teams. Comfortable in a highly technical environment with awareness of technical trade‑offs. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous, high‑stakes settings. Passion for creating positive environmental impact.
