EAM Mosca currently has openings for experienced Field Service Technicians to help expand our technical service force throughout the greater Toronto area in order to bring world class service and quality to our customers.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform Field Service repairs and Installations of strapping equipmentPerform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as scheduledProvide customer training on proper use of equipment and its maintenanceWork closely with our customers to resolve machine performance issues and determine required services or repairsAccurately evaluate problems, develop action plan to make repairs both mechanical and electrical. Prepare to have all necessary parts and tools available to perform the task at handWork closely with Mosca Engineering reporting specific machine issues that might require changesAbility to connect to and change PLC settings provided by engineering for Allen Bradley Control Logics and SiemensPerform diagnostics utilizing test meters and hand tools to correct failures of equipment componentsMaintaining control of your vehicle parts inventory, supplies and tools. Complete service call documentation using wireless devices. Perform exit meeting with customer staff on the work performedCommute in company vehicle and at times long distancesTeam, Training and SupportIn-house training with continuous on-the-job field training with senior field staffCompany car, laptop, some supplied tools, and cell phoneCorporate expense account / credit cardAll required Personal Safety EquipmentCompany logoed clothingAll supporting parts inventory needed for equipment maintenanceSkill RequirementsA strong working knowledge in the mechanical and electrical fieldAbility to read and understand mechanical drawings and wiring schematicsA strong knowledge of PLC programming, automation and controls.Sound understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic technologySolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively use and read measuring instruments, such as multi- meter, amp meter, micrometers, and calipersAbility to establish effective rapport with all levels of employees and customersAbility to take initiative and work independentlyCompetent customer services skills, with the ability to analyze the root cause and find permanent solutions to issuesAbility to engage in extensive customer interactionSolid computer skills (MS Office Applications and Windows-based programs)Corrugated industry experience is a plusOwn tools necessary (some tools will be supplemented)Experience and educationMinimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experienceHigh school diploma; Associates Degree a plus but not requiredA valid driver's licenseSolid Mechanical / Electrical backgroundPLC experience essentialExcellent Pay and Benefits packageMedical, Dental and Vision benefitsLife and STD BenefitsRetirement savings programPaid vacation and holidaysEAM-Mosca Corporation is an Equal Opportunity employer.
