Production Planner

Job Description Production Planner role at SHW Canada Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Review customer orders and forecast requirements to effectively plan production capacity. Ensure all materials, components, and supplies are available on time. Monitor work‑in‑progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or changes. Optimize production flow to reduce bottlenecks and improve overall efficiency. Communicate production plans and any schedule changes to supervisors and relevant departments. Track inventory levels and collaborate with Warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstocking. Prepare production reports and performance metrics for management review. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards at all times. Prepare various SAP reports related to material inventory. Operate material handling equipment and assist with loading and unloading of trucks. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or their designate. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of SAP experience or a Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management with SAP specialization. Strong administration skills. Experience in supply chain management and logistics. Good communication and networking skills, as well as strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
