The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions while ensuring the reliability security and performance of both cloud and on-premises systems. Experience with Windows and Linux environments and automation tools is essential.ResponsibilitiesDesign deploy and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure inAzureandAWS.Performsystems administrationtasks acrossWindowsandLinuxservers.Design implement and maintain coreinfrastructure in the cloud such as Networks VMs and IdentityMonitor system performance and availability using Datadog Nagios and Log Analytics.Apply regularpatchingand updates to systems to ensure compliance with SOC2 and security standards.Collaborate with development and infosec teams to support DevOps and Security practices.Administer identity management through Microsoft Entra including user lifecycle management access governance and directory synchronizationImplement and manage backup using cloud-native solutions including Azure Backup to ensure data protection.Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.Manage cloud network configurations including vnets subnets peering vwan route tables and S2S VPNsParticipate in 24x7on-call rotationto support critical infrastructure and resolve incidents.Required Skills / Abilities5 years of experience incloud engineeringorsystems administration.Certifications such asAzure Administrator AssociateAWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similarHands-on experience withMicrosoft AzureandAmazon Web Services (AWS).Strong knowledge ofWindows ServerandLinuxoperating systems.Proficiency innetworking concepts(TCP / IP DNS DHCP VPN firewalls).Familiarity withTerraformAnsible or similar automation tools.Experience withpatch managementand system hardening.Ability to drive projects from start to completion.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.Experience with scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Bash.Prior experience administering and troubleshottingRemote Desktop Services (RDS) is a plus.Experience using SCCM to manage software deployments patching and endpoint configurations across environments a plus.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for automation a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveFlexible PTOCertification(s) reimbursementSummer FridaysExtended Medical Dental Paid Sick Days Vision Life Insurance and Disability Leave CoverageRRSP & Employer matchIf you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly wed still love to hear from you We value people with unique backgrounds experiences and skillsets.
