Keir Surgical Ltd. is a Vancouver-based company that has been in business since 1923. We are seeking a Business Development Associate for full‑time employment, based out of our Vancouver office. This position will report to our Director of Business Development and work closely with all members of the sales and management team. Responsibilities Develop clinical and industry expertise; undertake advanced learning in specific fields of surgery. Take ownership of all surgical product categories, developing and executing a business plan to grow sales and increase brand knowledge. Involve at the site level in customer sales calls, meetings, in‑services and product trials/evaluations, as well as trade shows. Collaborate with suppliers, maintain strong business relationships and communication. Assist in identifying and developing strategic supplier partnerships or collaborations that align with the company’s objectives. Execute product launch strategies. Independently manage and execute targeted marketing campaigns. Contribute to sales training and development of educational resources. Collaborate with management on RFPs, pricing contracts and completion of clinical and technical responses. Work closely, cooperatively with sales, customer service, operations, and marketing personnel to support growing the product categories and operational efficiency. Other duties as identified by Management. Manage expenses related to travel, conferences, and promotions; consider cost/benefit and evaluate outcomes to improve future decisions. Conduct oneself and represent Keir Surgical ethically and professionally at all times. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration or Marketing. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information to customers. Entrepreneurial attitude and focus on customer service. Team player willing to share information and cooperate with sales team to meet shared goals. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
