Our client is looking for a bilingual Controller who speaks fluent French and English to join their small, close-knit team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is a new in‑office position offering full responsibility for the financial function of the Canadian business. What You’ll Do You will take ownership of all accounting operations and support business activities with reliable, structured financial leadership. This is an opportunity to build a trusted function from the ground up and make a lasting impact. Responsibilities Lead and execute full‑cycle accounting including financial reporting and payroll Prepare financial statements in accordance with Canadian best practices Oversee administrative financial tasks including registered mail and compliance duties Manage a team of 2 to 3 people locally Report to the Director of Finance and HR based in the UK Serve as a key point of contact for all finance‑related matters within the Canadian office Qualifications Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant or controller Strong understanding of Canadian accounting best practices and financial reporting Proficient in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and presentation skills Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities Must have a car and be able to work onsite in Woodbridge, Ontario Benefits Full benefits package Three weeks of vacation Standard Monday to Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed Why Work with Us This role offers a calm, structured environment with the support of a small, experienced team.
