You’ll be a key part of this team, owning a suite of commercial pages that produce direct revenue for the wider business.We are looking for someone to take an already established sports betting brand into the next stage of its journey. Helping us dominate the mature Canadian market, and nurturing the growth of our other English-speaking markets within the sports betting industry. You will have the opportunity to work on content and campaigns that will take a proven product to new audiences in every corner of the world.Your ImpactContinuous monitoring, reporting, auditing, and maintenance of various suites of pages that target our English-speaking audiences.Complete ownership of your content production process, including managing elements of the team’s budget and relationships with freelancers and agencies.Refine content by applying current Google guidelines and market insights - ensuring articles are well-structured, align with user intent, and provide genuine value to readers.Incorporate SEO principles into content briefs to effectively support and guide writers.Acting as the subject matter expert for audience interests across those markets (notably football, hockey, basketball, and baseball).Provide leadership and mentoring to other team members to help elevate content quality across the entire team.What You'll BringExtensive experience working in the sports betting space with a passion for all sports, particularly football, hockey, basketball, and baseball.Detailed knowledge of the Canadian betting market, including the nuances of regulation.A strategic mindset to help our brand build its market share and generate more revenue from Canadian, as well as other English-speaking markets.A proactive mindset that can drive the growth of our content and products through detailed reporting, analysing trends to help improve our reach, suggesting experiments to test copy tweaks/design changes etc.Marketing knowledge to help understand and support other teams and elements of our strategy; across brand, SEO, social, CRM, video content etc.Experience with SEO in content creation, including keyword research and on-page optimization using tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush.Familiarity with SEO within the sports betting industry, with awareness of key competitors and market dynamics.Why Legend?Super smart colleagues to work alongside and learn fromTailored flexibility for your work-life balanceAnnual discretionary bonus to reward your efforts20 days paid annual leaveLong-term incentive plan so we can all share in the growth and success of LegendExciting global Legend events, where we unite in person to ignite our shared passion and unveil the exciting strategies for the year aheadUnlock your full potential by joining the Legend team.
