The incumbent will oversee the administration, processes, and procedures related to biopharmaceutical pricing regulations, including PMPRB reporting, and will drive standardized processes on pricing, contracting, and negotiation matters for Pfizer products.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of pricing strategies for Pfizer, ensuring optimal revenue generation across the full product portfolio and diverse customer channels, while remaining compliant with federal and provincial regulations.Partner and coordinate with the Senior Manager, Access (SMA) colleagues, Global colleagues, and other relevant groups within Pfizer to optimise pricing administration and procedures from a Pfizer standpoint.Maintain vigilance on competitor pricing movements and pricing regulations to ensure Pfizer is competitively positioned while maintaining compliance.Establish and nurture positive working relationships with internal pricing networks, commercial colleagues, platforms, and enabling functions to provide guidance, advice, recommendations, and insights that support Pfizer pricing compliance and best‑in‑class decision‑making.Negotiations / PLA ManagementPlay an active role as a member of the pCPA negotiations team by providing analytic support and strategic guidance.Collaborate with the Legal partner to support the preparation for Product Listing Agreements (PLA) for products that successfully completed the pCPA process, as well as PLA renewals.Support the development of accrual models for management of rebates/PLA in collaboration with SMA, PLA Manager, Finance and Business Analytic Intelligence partners.Support the PLA reconciliation process to ensure timely contractual payments to payers.Lead the PLA invoice validations.PMPRBSupport the Pfizer PMPRB reporting obligations for all reported products and assist with investigations of PMPRB alleged claims of “excess revenues.”Provide analytics and reporting support for price determination and implementation of Pfizer pricing policies related to payer environment and PMPRB guidelines.Develop and maintain analytical tools to ensure data integrity within reporting obligations.The ideal candidate would possessUniversity degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Science, Health Sciences; graduate studies in one or more of these fields is an asset.Knowledge of key trends in pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement strategy.Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including an understanding of the interplay between influencers of Pfizer business.Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.Proven ability to lead and work within a cross‑functional team and large organization; ability to align across functions; effective communication skills are essential.Strong multitasking and project management skills.Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs and environment changes.Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to manage conflict constructively.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Bilingualism (French and English): an advanced level of English, both spoken and written, is required to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners located elsewhere in Canada and internationally daily.SalaryAnnual base salary ranges from $92,100 to $153,500 (Canada only).Benefits and Flexible WorkHealth and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, mental health support, and more.Financial security benefits, such as company contributions to retirement plans, life insurance, and financial planning resources.Time‑off benefits including vacation, holiday, sick leave, parental leave, caregiver leave, bereavement leave, and other country‑specific programs.Additional benefits such as childcare facilities, on‑site health and fitness centers, mindfulness solutions, and flexible work arrangements.Flexible working model: employees are expected to work on‑site 2.5‑3 days per week with remote work when business sense allows.Diversity and InclusionAt Pfizer, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth.
