Reporting to the Director of Service, the Program Manager’s mandate is to help residents achieve their development goals with dignity. Within that mandate, the Program Manager is accountable for creating the conditions that result in (a) a full and growing roster of residents, (b) quality care and professional delivery of development support services, (c) a financially sustainable service delivery model, and (d) a work environment that prioritizes health and safety, accountability, and personal development for direct support workers and management.Day-to-day operational management of assigned programs; providing leadership, coaching, constructive feedback, direction and support to the staff teams
Attend parent meetings, sessions with therapists, school conferences etc. li>Directly manage Supervisors and plan for adequate and effective staffing at each residence
Ongoing engagement with staff to allow for opportunities for open communication and feedback; li>Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff
Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate documentation, daily reports, logbooks and data sheets, time sheets, payroll records, and attendance records
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Sound crisis management skills
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of quality/compliance legislation
Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Completion or willingness to be trained in Safe Management techniques
G-Class driver's license, valid insurance, and a reliable vehicle
Satisfactory vulnerable sector police records check and pre-employment medical screening (required prior to commencement of employment)
