You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with Company policies in a manufacturing facility. Develop effective working relationships with local management and employees in order to influence and coach them on effective employment practices. Assist local management on various employment matters including Performance Management issues, employee inquiries or complaints, grievances, as well as the implementation of company-wide HR activities. Conduct investigations and recommend actions to effectively resolve policy violations. Seeks counsel from HR Leader or Legal as necessary to ensure proper risk management. Stay current on employment laws and Company policies. Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the management team. Conduct hourly recruitment for open positions following established process. Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation using corporate standardized material, as well as local onboarding material. Provide training and support for various HR systems including HR Atlas (JCI’s online employee portal and shared service system), Workday, SharePoint, Performance Management, and other others. Assist with Payroll and Benefits Administration. Serve as the Empowered People champion for the plant. Provide input for process/policy improvement. Other duties and projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. 3+ years of Human Resources experience with at least 1+ years in a manufacturing or related environment. Preferred Qualifications CPHR certified or in process of pursuing CPHR. Exempt HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. This will be an onsite role at our Nisku facility.
