For more information visit www.artemisgoldinc.com.Location: Blackwater Mine SiteSchedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off RotationResponsibilitiesDemonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.Performs end to end recruitment tasks, including role briefs, job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, probity checks, and offer management.Provides specialist advice regarding the attraction, selection, and on-boarding lifecycle, ensuring a diverse range of candidates are considered.Designs and implements innovative sourcing strategies to attract and select outstanding talent, encourage internal talent development, and reducing recruitment costs.Facilitates quality candidate management, and a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.Acts as the point of contact for the candidate for updates, feedback, and queries during the recruitment process.Implements programs including performance reviews, training and development, compensation reviews, employee communications and benefit administration.Implements individual and HR team projects such as reward and recognition, retention, statistical analysis, and career development programs.Works collaboratively with all departments, leading and/or partnering on the communication and implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.Provides information and advice regarding workforce planning, employee relations, workplace issues, workplace health and safety, and HR related legislation.Conducts exit interviews, identifies key issues and trends and makes recommendations for improvement as appropriate.Monitors the employee experience to identify employee relations issues and opportunities, recommends ideas and actions.Ensures the disability management program is effective, including short-term and long-term leaves, and in alignment with corporate objectives.Evaluates human resources policies and programs against operational and employee needs Completes routine administrative functions.Keeps current and ensures compliance with changes to legislation such as Human Rights Act, Privacy Act, Employment Standards, and Health and Safety legislation.Promotes a team-based culture between employees, departments, partners and contractors.Demonstrates the highest standards without compromise, supporting and living the company values.Openly supports company policy regardless of personal views.Monitors key human resources metrics to identify operational level trends and strategic issues requiring action planning.Maintains employee records and coordinates with the payroll department to ensure correct employee data.Other duties as assigned/required.QualificationsMinimum 3 years human resources experience in a mining field requiredDiploma or Bachelors Degree with a focus on Human Resources preferredMining experience considered an assetSolid understanding of labour laws, employment practices and HR principlesExperience with Microsoft Office, Teams and PowerBI preferredHigh attention to detailFlexibility to handle changing priorities, fast-paced environments and evolving organizational needsAbility to create and deliver presentations, training sessions and reports to various audiencesStrong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities effectivelyAbility to act with integrity, good judgement and discretionStrong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with employment legislation including Employment Standards, Labour Code, HumanRights and PrivacyAbility to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotationComfortable working and living in close quarters with the teamAbility to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shiftBenefitsPaid Time OffRRSP MatchingExtended Health, Dental & Vision CareDisability InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramCognitive Behavioural Therapy ProgramsWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, or any other basis protected by law.
