Who We Are OCL Group Inc. (OCL) is a Canadian, privately‑held, employee‑owned general contractor with integrated construction and design‑build solutions across Western Canada. Since 2009, OCL has provided quality, dependable service to the industrial, heavy civil, oil‑and‑gas, and mining sectors. Location / Rotation This role is camp‑based in Northwestern BC with a rotation schedule (e.g., 14 on/14 off, 18 on/10 off, etc.). Remote project work will be conducted 12‑hour days. A travel allowance is provided. Role Overview We are seeking experienced Project Coordinators to support Project Managers in planning, coordination, documentation, and communication, ensuring smooth project execution in a fast‑paced, industrial environment. Compensation / Benefits Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Weekly pay Company bonus (subject to overall performance) Health, dental, vision, travel benefits (50/50 split) Long‑term disability, AD&D, life insurance & dependent life insurance Paid vacation Cell phone allowance or company‑provided cell phone A company‑provided laptop Job Duties / Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence. Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and deliverables are met. Monitor project costs and budgets, and assist with reporting. Assist in change management and scope impacts. Facilitate communication between on‑site teams and head office. Support health, safety, and quality compliance on all projects. Skills / Education / Qualifications Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology, Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2‑5+ years of experience in project coordination within industrial, oil & gas, mining, or construction projects. Strong understanding of project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and reporting. Knowledge of HSE, ISO, CSA standards in industrial settings. Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders including engineers, superintendents, contractors, and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Google Workspace. Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar tools. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations. Ability to analyze data, track progress, and identify risks or issues proactively. Problem‑solving mindset, able to make informed decisions under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Comfortable working in a remote, camp‑based environment, including rotation schedules, and able to adapt to changing project demands. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
