OverviewKey Account Manager, Vaccines Specialty - Downtown Toronto/Scarborough (12 Month Secondment) — Canada (Ontario). This is a field-based role covering Downtown Toronto and Scarborough, ideally located in the Toronto or Scarborough areas.GSK is looking to hire a Key Account Manager (KAM), Vaccines – Specialty Care to join our Canadian Vaccines Business Unit. This is a 12-month secondment.ResponsibilitiesAct as a business owner in your territory, building and executing strategic account plans to surpass commercial objectives.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrative leaders, and health system stakeholders to drive process implementation within programs, accounts, and networks.Engage in national and regional planning through territory/account analysis and contribute to opportunity or mitigation strategies.Apply an entrepreneurial mindset and cross-functional collaboration to deliver results, embracing multichannel engagement and timely information delivery to customers.Develop and execute strategic territory/account plans; manage territory spend and budgets to optimize ROI.Engage external stakeholders in scientific discussions to ensure promoted vaccines are prescribed appropriately.Leverage internal and external resources to deliver tailored customer value solutions.Provide ongoing territory/account analysis and identify market dynamics that may impact regional or national business; contribute to opportunity or mitigation planning.Lead and deliver performance-to-objective reviews to commercial leadership; maintain adherence to the GSK Code and values.Travel within the territory and overnight travel as required (e.g., Winnipeg or external conferences).Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree completed.Minimum 3+ years of experience in institutional specialty sales or Key Account Management roles.Strong understanding and experience in key account management principles; excellent communication and engagement skills (virtual and in-person).Ability to articulate complex content clearly to management, peers, and customers; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Agility to work in a dynamic, complex, and changing environment; self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative with strong cross-functional communication.Experience with budget ownership and ROI analysis; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to learn new programs quickly.Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for company business; eligibility for a company-leased vehicle pending verification.Preferred QualificationsRecent Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology experience (minimum 2 years).Strong working knowledge in program, account, and health systems-based markets.Position requires routine driving; eligibility for a company vehicle subject to license verification and driver’s abstract review.Why GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
